            GRETSCH

    1968 WHITE FALCON

     AMERICAN BEAUTY

A rare dream guitar to own, the white falcon's are one of the iconic guitars of the 50's and 60's, alongside the Stratocaster and Les Pauls of the era, they make a fine addition to any collection. Getting quite hard to find nowadays at all, this particular one in the rarer and more desirable mono version, currently I believe one of the only ones on offer currently in the world..!! (as far as I can see)....it's def. been a players guitar and shows wear overall and along the back of the neck, the binding although all there has shrunk in several spots and if it was to be used as a stage guitar mite need to be looked at at some time or if your just looking to collect this piece of rock and roll history you wouldn't need to do anything to it. The 24ct gold plated parts show wear as well but all I all it's all there. I've played this one myself many times now through our 64 AC-30 and what can I say, a killer sounding guitar that's much underrated as a stage or recording guitar, you wont be disappointed at all with this piece of classic history, def. recommended for the collector....comes with it's original case....recommended

   1964 STRATOCASTER

              RARE

    LAKE PLACID BLUE

     EXC++ CONDITION

Here is a really cool vintage strat, featuring the rosewood slab board which gives those warm tones so often heard on some of those great records of the 60's. This one was a closet guitar in the sense that it has been stored since 1974 approx. and was never played since then, prior to this is was played a fair bit and shows some battle scares as can be seen in some of the pics. During this storage period the green guard has shrunk quite a bit and one corner has broken off and there's a break above the neck pickup. It plays well and does show wear on all frets and fretboard, one of the tone knobs is missing as well. It does come with the bridge cover and trem arm and original strap is in the Australian delivered case, all pickups and pots are 1964 and all solder is in place, no changed parts at all...neck date 1964 as well and the spaghetti logo is in exc. condition, the E6 tuner is very worn and although does hold tune I would recommend a replacement if playing live...overall a great condition strat and one for the collection, hang it on wall or play it live that's your choice, anyway you want it you wont be disappointed, for a personal viewing give me a call....

        TELECASTER 1979

                Blonde

Here is a very nice tele from the late 70's in beautiful blonde, it comes with it's original case and hang tag with serial numbers matching, overall in exc+++ condition but it was a under the bed special for the last 20 years and as such a bit of the red velvet has attached it self colour wise to the back of the body and sides etc as can be seen in the pics....gives it the providence of a under the bed guitar. The bridge at some time in the past was changed for a ESP one, not my favorite but it does the job, a original one could be had from a auction site pretty easily, the frets show minimal wear, are a bit green with tarnishing, we've decided to leave this to show it hasn't been played for a while, overall a great sounding tele, full of rich tones from the neck pickup and serious country tones from the bridge pickup...all cool bit of 70's rock....all other electrics and hardware original

            TELECASTER

                  COOL SUNBURST

                 1973

               exc+++

These Tele's from the early 70's are so hard to find especially in this condition and in a sunburst finish....this one is a under the bed special with almost no player wear on the fretboard bar a couple of small wear thru the finish marks hardly noticeable, the chrome parts are all in as new condition, finish has slightly faded but there is no noticeable crazing or cracking of the finish, some very minor wear marks on the body again hardly noticeable bar 1 damage mark on the rear bass shoulder from transit...plays extremely well, has a great full sound on the neck pickup and a typical tele twang on the rear, all solder untouched, tuners in exc. condition  and overall a light tele that wont break your back as so typical with some 70's fender's....a great way to start a tele collection, comes with a fender moulded case of the late 70's...

A real nice JAZZMASTER from the early 70's, is in overall exc condition and plays and sounds great as one comes to expect from these great guitars. The frets at some time will need replacing on the first 10 frets as they show around 50% wear. all the electrics and controls are original with original 1966 pots, the neck is fully bound and has the block inlays and still has the original finish on the back and on the headstock and the decal in in exc+++ condition as well. comes with a newer bass case to suit but original ones always come up on auction sites. a real treat to hear this and play.....

             KINGMAN

                1968

Here's a cool old Fender from the late 60's with some character, as seen in the movie Starskey and Hutch...if you want something a little different, well this is for you, features the bolt on neck just like a strat, fully bound with block inlays, single string tree on a set of original 'F' tuners, the serial plate is the shield type with a engraving from it's previous owner in the usa ..has the multiply gold pickguard and the body are bound on the top and back, the body shows player wear and significant crazing and on one place next to the serial plate the finish has come off (doesn't effect is playing though)...the guitar both acoustically and when played thru an amp sounds great, it has the old fender pickup with tone and volume adjustment on the pickup (these I believe were made by De Armond)...and of course it has it's original case....if your making a you tube video this will look the part as well.....it's cool, it's 60's and has the vibe....              TENOR UKULELE

               circa late 40's

A unique piece of Australiana here with a story behind it's making...the chap who made this had just returned from the prison camp CHANGI in 1945 (Singapore) and as part of his rehabilitation was sent to work with his hands at the JMG factory where under the supervision of the owner  built this particular ukulele, we bought this one from his widows estate several years ago... It's handcrafted solid mahogany archtop design... hand carved top and back with laminated sides also of mahogany. Round sound hole long style neck, has had some repairs to stabilize a few cracks on the top but other that that a fine UTILITY example, and a great player with a unbelievable tone and projection and playability, this is loud!!                      GIBSON

          LES PAUL CUSTOM 1956

               BLACK BEAUTY

This is one great guitar, highly desirable, has the 1 x p90 and the 1 x alnico pickup, body is all mahogany giving it a smoother jazzy sound some would say, although this guitar still rocks, Clapton played one on stage as well...the fretboard is ebony and these were the first les pauls to feature the split diamond logo on the headstock, pickguard is black and white multi layered, has the tunamatic and stop tailpiece, all fittings are gold plated and of course show wear, but in general the guitar shows little playing wear but on the top there are a few tiny dings where it would seem at some stage the player had a gold wrist chain on and this caused all those little dents you can see to the left of the E6 string, the tuners have been replaced with replica's but I will try and locate some authentic ones, but in the meantime it's sold with these, case is original as well, all electrics/pots/bumble bee's are original as well, a great playing guitar that does appreciate significantly and one that would add a great prestige to your collection...a rare guitar to find globally and especially here in Oz, I would love to see this guitar stay here in Australia....please call me personally to find out more about this wonderful highly collectable masterpiece..
