GRETSCH 6120 NASHVILLE 1967 |
Rockabilly style to the max here with a great vintage 60's GRETSCH, in the great faded to orange colour, another killer sounding guitar, whether your looking for that twang of country or the rockabilly sound this one will fit the bill, the guitar is in great condition, binding shows very little movement, pickups and electrics are in great original shape, pickguard does have a small crack where it meets the screw, fretboard and tuners are in great shape....overall exc++ condition, comes with a vintage GRETSCH case of the same era but not original to this guitar | SOLD TO MURRAY FROM NSW |

FENDER JUST LIKE JIMI HENDRIX'S STRATOCASTER RARE YEAR 1968 SUNBURST

A real nice 60's strat here with the bell
tone that's so familiar with great 60's strats, a lightweight tone
monster at just 6 and 1/2 pounds, has the vibe of many gigs and the look
on the body to go with it, if your looking for that Rory Gallagher strat
you cant go past this one, she's all original including all electrics
tuners, knobs and plastic, one bridge saddle has been replaced with a
handmade one now on the E1 string as can be seen in the pic and works
very well, tone pots all date 1966 and pickups date 68 as is the neck a
68, this year is quite rare to find as not many come on the market, the
rosewood board is in great condition as are the frets, the body sunburst
is definitely wearing off and should you decide to keep playing it this
way it will wear more....comes with a non original hard case Overall a great player and a great guitar to invest in, not always are we looking for that glossy new look, these played guitars mean one thing...?....there great players..!! |

FENDER STRATOCASTER RARE CUSTOM COLOUR DAKOTA RED 1969 |
Here's a rare colour 69 strat in it's original finish, shows wear around the edges and back, missing it's backplate as well as it's trem arm, all else there including it's original case. The dark rosewood fretboard has been refretted with large frets as this was a working stage guitar. The pickguard is faded to a light brown/crème and has the mother of pearl finish on the inside. The wires from the jack to the pots has been changed as well as 3x80's cts pots now installed (originals are available with a search of the net) overall a great and rare colour to find, plays as you would expect with that great bell tone so associated with 60's strats and comes with a full setup and great low action, overall an excellent guitar to invest in... | SYDNEY PRICE...$25000

RARE GIBSON LES PAUL 25/50th Anniversary 1978 Players condition |
Here is a players condition rare 25/50th anniversary Les Paul in tobacco burst with a very nice flamed top. It features the ebony fretboard with the double parallelogram split inlays and the frets show some wear. The headstock has the 25/50th in abalone and mop so looks very cool. All the standard features are there of course and it's in all original condition with no changed parts or electrics. The TP6 tailpiece is missing 2 mini tuner screws but these parts can be found quite readily on auction sites. The back of the guitar does show a lot of belt buckle wear but overall it's general condition is excellent. It plays great and with those 2 humbuckers in combination with the coil tap it's a killer sounding guitar that cuts through. These guitars are fast becoming a prized addition to Les Paul players and collectors and as most were sold to collectors and are in mint condition they tend to be quite expensive ( around $7000 for a mint one here in Australia..!! ) so here is your chance to get one in players condition/price.....comes with it's original case |

GRETSCH 1968 WHITE FALCON AMERICAN BEAUTY |
A rare dream guitar to own, the white falcon's are one of the iconic guitars of the 50's and 60's, alongside the Stratocaster and Les Pauls of the era, they make a fine addition to any collection. Getting quite hard to find nowadays at all, this particular one in the rarer and more desirable mono version, currently I believe one of the only ones on offer currently in the world..!! (as far as I can see)....it's def. been a players guitar and shows wear overall and along the back of the neck, the binding although all there has shrunk in several spots and if it was to be used as a stage guitar mite need to be looked at at some time or if your just looking to collect this piece of rock and roll history you wouldn't need to do anything to it. The 24ct gold plated parts show wear as well but all I all it's all there. I've played this one myself many times now through our 64 AC-30 and what can I say, a killer sounding guitar that's much underrated as a stage or recording guitar, you wont be disappointed at all with this piece of classic history, def. recommended for the collector....comes with it's original case....recommended |

FENDER 1964 STRATOCASTER RARE LAKE PLACID BLUE EXC++ CONDITION

Here is a really cool vintage strat, featuring the rosewood slab board which gives those warm tones so often heard on some of those great records of the 60's. This one was a closet guitar in the sense that it has been stored since 1974 approx. and was never played since then, prior to this is was played a fair bit and shows some battle scares as can be seen in some of the pics. During this storage period the green guard has shrunk quite a bit and one corner has broken off and there's a break above the neck pickup. It plays well and does show wear on all frets and fretboard, one of the tone knobs is missing as well. It does come with the bridge cover and trem arm and original strap is in the Australian delivered case, all pickups and pots are 1964 and all solder is in place, no changed parts at all...neck date 1964 as well and the spaghetti logo is in exc. condition, the E6 tuner is very worn and although does hold tune I would recommend a replacement if playing live...overall a great condition strat and one for the collection, hang it on wall or play it live that's your choice, anyway you want it you wont be disappointed, for a personal viewing give me a call.... | REDUCED TO SELL NOW $29000 AUD...!!! KRAMER BASS 250B 1977 |
Here is another great and cool vintage bass, really don't see many of these around nowadays, quite rare to find one here in Oz....the model 250b has the aluminium and I believe maple neck neck with the split aluminium headstock, fretboard is ebony and shows almost no player wear as do the frets, the knobs are not original I believe but there I could be wrong. It never came with it's case so we'll have to find it a nice hard case. It plays well and has that vintage sort or vibe to the sound, although not a full size bass you could still play this one all night on stage or in a studio it would really suit. Not heavy at all, sits well, a great bass.....if your looking for something different give this one a try |

FENDER TELECASTER 1979 Blonde

Here is a very nice tele from the late 70's in beautiful blonde, it comes with it's original case and hang tag with serial numbers matching, overall in exc+++ condition but it was a under the bed special for the last 20 years and as such a bit of the red velvet has attached it self colour wise to the back of the body and sides etc as can be seen in the pics....gives it the providence of a under the bed guitar. The bridge at some time in the past was changed for a ESP one, not my favorite but it does the job, a original one could be had from a auction site pretty easily, the frets show minimal wear, are a bit green with tarnishing, we've decided to leave this to show it hasn't been played for a while, overall a great sounding tele, full of rich tones from the neck pickup and serious country tones from the bridge pickup...all cool bit of 70's rock....all other electrics and hardware original | SOLD TO DAMIJAN FROM SLOVENIA |

Here is a strat from the late 70's and in overall excellent condition, a great player, not too heavy at all, a great looking strat with the white guard and black pickup covers and knobs...comes with it's original chrome bridge cover and trem arm, as can be seen from the pics the finish is in exc+++ condition and shines like a star as can be seen in the pics...neck and frets are in great condition, a great sounding 70's strat which will only get better with the passing of time as will it's value go up and up as can be seen all over now that these 70's guitars are on the move, if your looking for your first guitar, a stage guitar or just one to add to your collection don't miss this...comes with it's original hard case |

FENDER TELECASTER COOL SUNBURST 1973 exc+++ |
These Tele's from the early 70's are so hard to find especially in this condition and in a sunburst finish....this one is a under the bed special with almost no player wear on the fretboard bar a couple of small wear thru the finish marks hardly noticeable, the chrome parts are all in as new condition, finish has slightly faded but there is no noticeable crazing or cracking of the finish, some very minor wear marks on the body again hardly noticeable bar 1 damage mark on the rear bass shoulder from transit...plays extremely well, has a great full sound on the neck pickup and a typical tele twang on the rear, all solder untouched, tuners in exc. condition and overall a light tele that wont break your back as so typical with some 70's fender's....a great way to start a tele collection, comes with a fender moulded case of the late 70's... |

FENDER BASS 1977 PRECISION EXC++ CONDITION

Just in a real cool vintage P bass from the mid 70's in all original condition with matching handbook, chrome covers and thumbrest. A nice rosewood fretboard with minimal wear on both the frets and board, neck plays great and sounds just as good. at this price you would be buying a new p bass here in oz....get this one with the real vintage vibe, lightweight as well..!! comes with it's original exc cond. case.... |

FENDER JAZZMASTER 1970 SUNBURST EXC COND.*

A real nice JAZZMASTER from the early 70's, is in overall exc condition and plays and sounds great as one comes to expect from these great guitars. The frets at some time will need replacing on the first 10 frets as they show around 50% wear. all the electrics and controls are original with original 1966 pots, the neck is fully bound and has the block inlays and still has the original finish on the back and on the headstock and the decal in in exc+++ condition as well. comes with a newer bass case to suit but original ones always come up on auction sites. a real treat to hear this and play..... |

FENDER PRECISION BASS WALNUT 1978/80 |
Here is a real cool vintage P bass from the late 70's. comes with it's hang tag, all chrome covers and original near mint condition case. All electrics and fittings are original. The neck is in exc+++ condition and it plays like a dream. Finish is in the walnut and at some stage this one was refinished to this and as you can see it is a 100% mint job. The finish of the timber underneath in beautifully grained and as such this would make a ideal one to add to a collection of basses why buy a new one when you can have the vintage vibe of the 70's for the same price... |

FENDER BASS 1977 TELECASTER EXC + COND. |
Here is a really cool Telecaster bass from the mid 70's, overall in exc playing condition, has that nice thumping big sound from that great Humbucking pickup, the finish shows some wear, scratches and crazing, the see thru blonde just looks so cool on these that they look great under stage light's...the condition of the frets are great, neck is in exc condition, decal in perfect condition, at some stage there was what looked like a small repair to the first fret section, (can just be seen in the pic) which does not effect it's playability or the truss, that works fine and is fully adjustable, just gone thru a setup, truss relief on the fretboard is perfect, so it has a nice low action, there is no thumb rest, knobs from the volume and tone are original as are the pots/wiring etc, a great 70's bass at a very realistic price, comes with it's original case....has the wow factor this one..!!...and it's light |

FENDER JAZZMASTER 1963 SUNBURST EXC +++ COND.

Here is a exc condition Jazzmaster, it features a rosewood fretboard with clay dot inlays, neck date 63, all electrics are original, pot dates 61 and 63, the body is in exc+++ condition with almost no scratches or dings and only light crazing, never been gigged, a home use guitar only, it plays like a dream and has just come back from a setup, action in just right, neck truss works fine, harmonics now in, shows light fret wear on the first 5 frets, the sound of these jazzmasters is unreal, a recommended guitar for stage or recording, tuners are replacement 'F' type from mid 60's....has a original fender strap (white) and coil lead in the aussie Stamford case....a great investment in your music future |

RICKENBACHER LAP STEEL RARE 8 STRING model B VERSION circa 1940's...

Here is the rarer bakelite RICKENBACHER version of the 8 string steel, notice the spelling on the headstock, one of the first versions before they Americanized it...it has the feature front panels in white now crème with age, some screws are not original, but hey it's old...!!!one of the knobs is broken but still holds and functions well....in one of the pics of the tuners you can see one ever so lightly bent....enough of the cosmetics...how does it sound..? it howls as they say, would make the ideal blues instrument or if your into that vintage Hawaiian sound you cant go past one of these.....def. recommended comes with a original case |

GRETSCH WHITE FALCON G6136 MODEL WITH IMPERIAL TUNERS & DELUXE HUMP-BLOCK INLAYS |
This is a really cool rockabilly axe, makes the perfect stage guitar for that trio, features the vertical GRETSCH logo with wings and the humpblock inlays on the fretboard, Cadillac tailpiece, 2 x filtertrons, wow the list goes on....gold binding back and front...in overall exc+++ condition, a great player, we had this one cranked up in our fender concert amp with a standup drummer and a double bass out back for our xmas party and it rocked.....the coolest looking guitar we own...I just love these....and look at the saving's compared with the new price here in Oz... |
