We've just added a live demo streaming facility to our new arrivals and will do this with nearly all our new guitars as they arrive. It does require a windows media player which nearly all modern computers already have installed. Of course streaming does require around a 500kb download speed and if you have broadband or ADSL it should be no problem to view. For those still on dial up I'm sorry but all I can do is make it possible to download it and save it to your hard drive and then play it from there. I hope you enjoy the video's and any feed back you wish to send just let me know

Just back from an overseas holiday, managed to pick up a few guitars although where we went not many vintage guitars were on offer.
Just in a rare MATON WEDGETAIL from 1968, did I mention RARE, considered by some to be the most collectable MATON ever produced, check it out in our new arrivals 1 page, sold to RICK SPRINGFIELD from L.A..
The latest is our Maccaferri has
now been sold, it was one of my favourite guitars but alas, it's gone to one of
the greats of our time, Hank Marvin from (as we all know) THE SHADOWS,

We'll it's been a eventful few month's ...comp. melt down once, screen blowing up once as well, time to get a new comp. I think, ...on the vintage side we've had a few unusual bits and pieces come in, namely a 1932 Maccaferri-Selmer 12 fret 'D' hole, a harp guitar from Gibson from the 1920's (1919 actually) and a great new Weissenborn style lap guitar handmade by Daniel Brauchli from Tasmania, these Weisenborn style lap steels are handmade from flamed Tasmanian Blackwood which is a close relative of Koa so it has the same attributes and sound quality as a Weissenborn without the price tag !It's actually a bit louder as some of the internal bracing is done with carbon fibre...I would highly recommend one of these if your looking for that sound....pics to be uploaded soon, the Maccaferri will go into my own personal collection for now or until someone temps me somewhat.
