FOR MORE ENQUIRIES REGARDING THIS UNIQUE COLLECTION PLEASE CONTACT RIC DIRECTLY
A beautiful collection of all 9 colour's from the collection, you can find the odd one here or there but to have the whole collection is a rarity. Neck dates are all S9 but as we all know these are basically all from 1981. Fender brought these out as a special and were offered to dealers in batches which some dealers but not all took up. Now in the 21st century 70's and 80's Strat's values are all shooting up comparing with new prices etc so when looking at investment wise nearly 40 years old vintage Strat's plus custom colouring makes this a great choice for those wishing to collect a special collection indeed.

A GREAT 'COLLECTORS' OR UP AND COMING 'ROCK STAR'S' GUITAR
Rarely do we see guitars of this quality come through the door. This beautiful
LES PAUL STANDARD, but with the flamed 4 piece top is reminiscent of the 58, 59 Les Paul Bursts...Made only 13 years after those classic Bursts and probably by the same guy's. One can assume it was destined to be a deluxe/custom but once it was seen that it had a beautiful flamed top it was then put aside and the '2' stamp is because of it's 4 piece top. But this has not effected it's Beauty or value in anyway now, being a 73' standard in itself is quite rare as during the early 70's only very few* (see attached ODT file) were made and in 1973 4 only made..!!..as can be seen in attachment plus only a few had the flame tops. This one finished in 1973 has the Brazilian rosewood fretboard that's fully bound, mother of pearl trapezoid inlays, tuners are now replaced with Gibson Deluxe,(originals were kluson deluxe) the pickups are patent number's, routes are all ok as can be seen, pot's ( dated 1973) and solder all original, jack-plug plate replaced. The finish does show player wear and some small dings etc as photographed but of course doesn't effect how it plays and as such yes it's a absolutely great sound guitar worthy of any collector or rockstar dare I say. Should you have any questions please feel free to email me.

ANOTHER GREAT COLLECTORS GUITAR
Just in a very cool
GIBSON DELUXE GOLDTOP from 1970, thats 49 years ago..!!..in absolutely beautiful condition, the gold is still gold but has that slight touch of the green showing through etc, the body is the pancake and the neck is 3 piece, tuners are the double ring gibson deluxe, fretboard is brazilliian rosewood and fully bound with mother of pearl inlays, has the 2 creme mini Humbuckers plus the 3 way switch and the 2 x vol and 2 x tone knobs, the backplate is a non original one currently metal but will be replaced when a new one comes in. Case is also non original. All pots and solder are original and untouched and has the 2 bumble bee cap's. So how does it play and sound..? as Ive said with a lot of great guitars that we have this is so good, you just cant compare these to a new gold top etc, the vintage sound and playability that these vintage guitars have is great. Another highly recommended guitar in exc++ condition

Just in a very nice FENDER STRATOCASTER 1975 IN SUNBURST, under light's this has a vibrant colour as can be seen in the pics etc, would make a great stage guitar. This one comes to us with the maple fretboard, large headstock, 3 bolt neck, 3 ply pick guard, all electrics are original, earth wire needed to be re-soldered for the earth as was a touch noisy but fixed beautifully etc, plays great and sounds like a classic vintage Strat from the 70's of course. Has gone through a setup but of course these are a general setup and should you have special setup requirement's I'm sure your luthier can do it to suit. Does have some slight crazing etc but this add's the beauty of course. It has an original case still in pretty good condition as all the locks work etc, overall a great guitar and at a great price either for a collector to start a nice collection or the player, either way you won't be dissapointer with this vintage Strat from the 70's. exc. cond.

GIBSON ES-335

early 70's serial
WALNUT FINISH
Here we have another great GIBSON ES-335 from the very early 70's, serial dating put's it bewtween 1970 & 1972. The walnut finish is still in great shape and only shows minor crazing etc, no major dings or scratches overall the finish is quite good on the body. The neck shows 1 spot of wear through of about 1cm round or so. Pickups are of course patent number with a 3 way selector and 2 x volume and 2 x tone. The 335 features a solid block running from the neck to the back of the guitar which is where these get there magic tone from, and of course this is a tone monster, no doubt about that..! The fretboard is Brazilian rosewood with binding and mother of pearl block inlays. the binding overall shows that nice yellowing which basically all 335 of this age do giving it that unique vintage vibe and look. Overall a tone monster waiting for it's new owner. In exc+ condition and comes with it's original case.

GIBSON FIREBIRD

REFINISHED
TO A NATURAL TIMBER FINISH
Here is a GIBSON FIREBIRD V from 1966...first thing we notice is 1. this has been sanded (I cant say it any other way, badly) by a previous owner as such the serial is now gone. 2. the bridge pickup is non original (maybe seymore Duncan) and at one stage another pickup had been added to the top of the pick guard adding 3 small holes as well as some small alterations to the wiring under the pick guard...Pot's etc are all original 1965 and no mod's or solder touched there(see pics) ..So as we can see no longer a collector's piece but just a players guitar, but having said that even with the non original pickup this guitar still has the sound, feel and vintage vibe you would expect from a guitar made more than 50 years ago. Play's extremely well, just had a fret level and a full setup by our luthier and his comment was "wow what a guitar" so it still play's really well, come's with a picnic style case etc which it now really needs another case as this one is 99% failed... overall good condition RC- 49

This beautiful GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM has late 60's features such as "NO made in usa stamp" but does have a volute implying very late 69 dec. or jan/feb 1970. This one has the Ebony fully bound fretboard, mother of pearl block inlays, 2 patent number hum buckers and a 3 way selector as well as 2 tone and 2 volume selector, I believe the knob's are aftermarket.. All pot's are original and the solder is untouched as well, tuners are back to original (some very small holes may be visible but have been filled in ) the case is believed to be aftermarket. The finish has some dings etc which can be seen in the pics but still overall a very cool vintage guitar for the player or collector. These 70's customs are shooting up in value dramatically and as such if your gonna get one don't hesitate. This guitar has just gone for a full setup and plays like a dream and sounds so good that even to describe it is so difficult, but put it this way, you won't be dissapoineted at all with this great vintage les Paul custom...highly recommended

STRATOCASTER

DAKOTA RED
ORIGINAL FINISH
ANOTHER VERY COLLECTABLE STRATOCASTER JUST IN..!! Here is a classic vintage DAKOTA RED stratocaster from Fender, year is 1969 so this year it's celebrating it's 50th birthday and what a guitar it is. This one came in a couple of month's ago but needed a serious fret job as the previous 'butcher' ( no offence to butcher's here..lol ) tried to do a refret but well as you can imagine did a horrific job. Now though the fretwork by our top luthier here in Perth did an absolutely wonderful job 10/10. So let me give you a description now of this great vintage classic. This is the second time we've had this guitar in, the first time was about 10 years ago but luckily for us it's back in our hands. It has the rosewood fretboard which has just undergone an extensive refret as mentioned, now it has original width frets but slightly taller so they should last many years of playing, the tuners are 'f' type and of course original, pickups, pick guard, covers etc are original, as can be seen it has the mother of pearl underneath which was a common thing they did at Fender back then, it still has it's untouched 3 way switch, all wiring is original but it does look like one solder earth wire was 'maybe' done in the past (sometimes it's very hard to distinguish whether this was done at the factory or not..? ) As can be seen from the pics all the pick guard, cover & knobs are well used and have gone a beautiful deep creme in colour. Also you can see plenty of real players wear as this guitar was used by a professional player. The backplate is still with the guitar which seems quite rare nowadays as well as the tremolo arm which is original as well. The neck pocket had been routed out by a previous owner many years ago who had no idea what these guitars are worth and as such does effect it's value to a degree but it's still a 69' Strat and as such very collectable and desirable to play and own. This guitar will be featured in a new video segment in a week or two so keep checking the new arrivals page etc. Overall in VGC very playable, sounds oh so cool, what a guitar...highly recommended for the collector. Has been through the full setup, plays extremely well, sound's very cool as you would expect. Looking for that Strat but without that vintage price tag then this is your next closest step. Wait another 10 years and this will be vintage..!! as now even 80's guitars are 40 years old and are still desirable should you not have the budget etc. Comes with some case candy and a great fender case.

Again the Gibson Custom Shop have outdone themselves with this amazingly beautifully flamed J-200M Anniversary model. Featuring the flamed maple as seen in the pics on the back and sides, the stunning inlays featuring paua shell, fully bound front and back including the neck and the headstock, one can only be amazed at how beautiful this looks....So how does it play...? Well again being the smaller model compared to the SJ-200 you can actually hold this one easily and this in itself makes it so much better than the SJ models, as for sound it has sustain and that full bodied richness only found in the top end guitars, you could use this on stage, to record with or makes a beautiful guitar in that video clip, condition is EXC+++ and has some very very minor player wear, but basically you cant see this, no dings or scratches, in the neck pic you can sort of see a spot that looks like a ding but this is in the pic from the light so there's nothing there...comes of course with original case, pamphlets, key etc.

JETGLO
The allure of the 12 string to legends like George Harrison and Tom Petty for certain effects in songs is what makes these 360's a desirable 12 string, this one manufactured 1981 in the cool Jetglo has some of the desirable checking that we all look for in vintage instruments, the jangly sound of the 12 string and the ease of how the Ricky feels is what makes these so great. No cumbersome thick and wide neck but a very slim style just like the 6 string so this makes it so much easier to play, these guitars of course can be used on stage at anytime and also do make a great recording guitar as well, we can recommend this one for sure, don't forget if your in australia a new ricky 360/12 is more than 5k so for a early 80's COOL VINTAGE this is the way to go, exc+ condition and comes with a hard case

Of the many guitars produced by Fender the Mustang was the small bodied electric with just two single coil pickups, two slide switches for those pickups and volume controls etc, very basic but a much. loved guitar played by many legends, these also record well and being quite light you can hang one of these around your neck all night long. This one having dates from 1966 and parts of the same era such as pickups, shielding etc has been assembled from parts such but still is a great player. Ok not 100 % original but definitely a players guitar, finish is 'Daphne blue' but look's more like baby blue and has been hand sanded to give it that age feel, condition is still good, sound very cool, plays well, rosewood fretboard is also excellend condition etc...and comes with a nice hard case...

A very underrated guitar by Fender from the very early eighties etc. The Lead 3 featured split coil pickups x two and two 3 way switches so there was quite a varied sound combination you could achieve. It's quite a light guitar so if your small statured or maybe a girl who is looking for something not to heavy but with that vintage vibe this is a great way to go. Just in is a beautiful GIBSON ES-335 from 1973 in the alternative colour of 'Walnut' ok it's not cherry but if it was it would be even more expensive. So in walnut it's a great way to get into a 'vintage' 335. It has the trapeze tailpiece, double line gibson deluxe tuners, brazillian rosewood fretboard, 2 tone and 2 volume switches plus the 3 way selector. So lets talk sound, as you know these early 70's 335's do have that killer sound coming from those two patent number pickups, plus the 335 is quite light so makes it easy to play all night, of course at these investment prices now seen on early Gibsons these are becoming more and more for the professional players or for those with discerning tastes, so if this is to your liking please feel free to email me but just to let you know we also have a 1970 335 also in walnut on the way...overall this one is in exc++ condition and comes with it's original case, please note the case handle (or should I say rope..lol..)

Don't you just love these SG SPECIALS from the late 60's, featuring the two P90 pickups that, basically scream..!! Yep these have that reputation as great guitars especially when played live on stage with the band. This one also has the fully bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays, original tuners, original electrics so a nice find for us here in Australia. This one is of course light and has that cool cherry finish which has aged beautifully with no major dings just honest player wear which is even hard to see in the pics, what can I say, really nice and in exc.++ condition, comes with a non-original hard case which I feel really needs something more substantial for a guitar of this quality.

SOMETIMES WORDS JUST LET YOU DOWN, WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THIS GUITAR..!!
Gibson's legendary SG JUNIOR from 1964 in a beautiful cherry colour. These have a great reputation as do the Les Paul juniors which of course are nearly identical, plugged in to our vintage AC-30 I was truly amazed. The punch and clarity of the P90 is only accentuated by the playability and sound quality, with great midranges and clear upper tones as well, it really sings...So it's in cherry, hardly any dings etc just honest player wear with the odd nick here and there, newer tuners with 1 slightly larger hole for the tuner peg, the point of the pickguard is cracked (as are 98% of all juniors) has the original case which of course a guitar of this quality need's a flight case...of course comes with our highest recommendation, in my opinion exc++ condition

A GREAT COLLECTORS PIECE
A beautiful GIBSON ES-345 from 1967, in the great cherry finish which I believe is the most desirable, it is the stereo model with the varitone sector switch giving many different options for the sound you desire. This model was more expensive at the time than it's junior brother the 335 as stereo was just catching on, but now after more than 50 years the 335 has also become very collectable as has this one. Of course this one features the trapeze tailpiece, split diamond mother of pearl inlays, brazilian rosewood fully bound fretboard deluxe kluson tuners and the binding has aged to the very cool looking cream colour. Most collectors keep them in the stereo or have a very small mod. done which can easily be reversed and make it mono, if you wish to keep it in stereo you will need a stereo to mono lead, so whether you are a collector or professional you will enjoy the beauty of this model, it's killer sound and the ease of how it plays.
