A RARE 'V' BY ZEMAITIS, SERIAL 0001
GRECO THINLINE TELECASTER CIRCA 1974
MADE IN JAPAN
1972 TO 74
The Japanese have always made great copies of both Fender and Gibson guitars. This Greco of course is no exception, same style lightweight body, 'F' hole, mother of pearl style pick guard, 2 x Maxon humbucker pickups which do give a great vintage sound. The neck and fretboard are maple and also, tuners are original greco, fret's are original and show little wear. A great player considering a Fender from this era fetches around 5K plus, so at this price you cant go wrong. The case is the hard plastic (grp) style so it protects the guitar well during transport. This is one great looking guitar from around 1974, you won't be disappointed at all. Recommended if you dont have the 5Kplus budget for the Fender. EXC+ condition.
pics on the way
Here's a cool Fender Jazz Bass from 2007 the 62' Re-Issue.
Featuring the stackpole knob's, tortoise shell style pick guard, rosewood fretboard, dot inlays and finished in Olympic White. The finish is still 'white' but in certain pics does look creme in colour. This beautiful bass is in EXC+++ condition but does has a couple of very very small nicks and one spot where it was sitting on a stand for too long and has gone a slight yellowish but hardly noticeable at all. The case is also in exc condition and comes with all the case candy. Finished by R.MORENO who was a worker in the USA factory and the neck date can be verified in the pics as 2007. A great guitar at a great price.
BY ARIA PRO XX MS
Every now and then we come across something special, this ORIGINAL 'MICHAEL SCHENKER' SIGNATURE guitar from ARIA PRO XX MS is one of these, very hard to find nowadays. Michael now has a deal with dean guitars but in 1981 this was (is) the original one. It features a rosewood fretboard, pointy headstock with aria tuners, dot inlays, 1 x standard aria humbucker and 1 x 'bill Lawrence' much desired L90 pickup from the early 80's installed in the bridge position. Although not original to this guitar still a desirable pickup indeed which does nothing to distract from the coolness of this guitar. The body has now gone to that creme shade as so often seen with white guitars from the era, and the pick guard is in the opposite colouring to give it that black/white look. Overall a great sounding guitar and one that when you bring it to a UFO 'Schenker' meeting you will certainly stand out. Comes with a new hard case and it's original ARIA soft case. vgc+++
2 TONE SUNBURST
CIRCA EARLY 90'S
A COOL VINTAGE FERNANDES FROM CIRCA 80'S.
This ST-57 model based on the famous Fender Stratocaster is the way the Japanese were making guitars back in the 70's and 80's. They literally bought the originals and pulled them apart and made these super clones, to a degree that is. This one is pretty cool as well, features the 8 screw single ply pick guard, maple fretboard, button style tuners and a 2 tone sunburst finish. It plays really well and sounds a lot better than what you would think. I would compare it to a 80's Japanese Fender as it sounds pretty good. Although not expensive this guitar will outperform any chinese guitar by miles and at only $725 it's a real bargain. Currently does not have a case but I'll see if I can find a secondhand hard case for it, if not a new hard case is $109 aud. Overall in exc condition
