JUST ARRIVED: 
A VERY COOL 1967 GIBSON ES335 FEATURING A BIGSBY IN CHERRY.
 
VERY MUCH A PLAYERS GUITAR AND PRICED ACCORDINGLY.
 
Here's a very cool Gibson, and as you can see it in great condition, which that it is.
There are several things which I'll go through here, firstly the finish is all original, pickups are original PAT NUMBER with the original stickers still intact.
 
What has been done, when we bought it, the tuners had been replaced with a set of very cheap ones, no additional holes were drilled which is good, so we replaced theme with a new set of aged Kluson Deluxe Double Ring tuners.
It has an added stop tail and its original nylon saddles have been replaced with a bronze type, which suits the bigsby for sure as that causes less friction and wear.
The pots and 3 way switch plus the jack were replaced and as can be seen in the pics we utilised the Emerson Pro 335 kit, these are a high end replacement and well regarded in the industry. New imperial knobs were sourced as the old ones on there were for the metric pots that had been installed.
The Bigsby is the Towner model which features the stop bar across the stop tail, this helps with the depth of the sound picked up by the body and pickups, and stabilise tension which ads tuning stability, another well regarded piece in the industry.
 
Overall a lot of effort by the team to bring this great guitar back, but also to enhance the quality and sound so you can be rest assured that with these options you should not have any worries going forward.
The case is a Gibson 80's brown case with the thick wooly style lining, of course not original to this guitar but a high quality case non the less.
Sound wise, well what can I say, it's right up there with any 60's Gibson and you're going to be proud to own this great guitar for sure.
