THE INTERNATIONAL COLLECTION MAUI BLUE STRATOCASTER IN ONE A VERY RARE COLOUR.
 
At Rics we have a beautiful collection of all 9 colours from the original International Collection.
You can find the odd one here or there but to have the whole collection is a rarity. 
Neck dates are all S9 but as we all know these are basically all from 1980/1. 
Fender brought these out as a special and were offered to dealers in batches which some dealers but not all took up. 
Now in the 21st century 70's and 80's Strat's values are all shooting up comparing with new prices etc.  So when looking at investment wise at 43 years old vintage Strat's plus custom colouring makes this a great choice for those wishing to collect a part of the special collection indeed.
This is the MAUII BLUE and although you can get one of these colours today, it doesnt look as good as the original colour.
It has the Maple fretboard, black pickup covers and dot markers and it comes with an original Fnder moulded hard case.
Has a few odd nicks here and there but verall a very nice Strat.
