JUST ARRIVED: THE GIBSON 1981 LES PAUL GOLDTOP STANDARD
 
Here's a very cool 1981 Les Paul Standard with the 3 piece Maple neck and a very dark rosewood fretboard.
The maple necked Les Pauls are known for there clarity and brightness when played and are considered by some as highly desirable, (les Paul forum) of course that's a personal choice.
Featuring two great patent number pickups, original pot's and wiring, great fretboard with original frets and original tuners.
It plays and sounds as good as it looks and considering the price of some new gold tops you can get yourself a real vintage piece that's 45 years old for just a few dollars more.
This one overall is in excellent condition and with almost no damage or dings etc, and gold still shines on the front and is just starting to get very light crazing which you can barely see.
